Peter's
eyewitness account
of Jesus life, death and ressurection.
It is
very likely that Mark's record of the Life of Jesus Christ was actually
from Peter's account of what he observed and heard Jesus say and do
while here on the earth. In Mark's personal conversations
with Peter, he wrote from his sermons and recorded conversations with
Jesus.
John Mark, his Jewish name, was the nephew of Barnabas. Mark
was just a boy when the events of Jesus life took place. He
traveled with Paul on his first journey, later Paul wrote that Mark was
of great value to him.
